Typing is fast. Ink stamping is slow. I’ve found that the more tedious the analog process, the more thoughtful I have to be with my word choices. This, I think, explains a lot about online communication. Also, while playing with the media of letter stamps (these were done in 2016, I think), I realized that slow talkers kern their words with more space than fast talkers (whose letters overlap each other) and now I can’t unsee that pattern when I hear it.
